_ Reflecting on the significance of welcoming CIFEJ to Greece
the CEO of EKKOMED Leonidas Christopoulos stated
I am proud to see CIFEJ entering a new and exciting phase-one grounded in tradition, but boldly reaching into the future. Our shared vision is clear: to establish CIFEJ as a global driver of youth-centered film innovation, education, and industry development-anchored now in Greece, a country with a deep-rooted cultural narrative and a rapidly evolving audiovisual landscape. The relocation of CIFEJ’s headquarters to Greece marks more than a symbolic shift. It reflects a shared commitment to rebranding and repositioning children’s media as a strategic pillar of the global creative industries, while also enhancing Greece’s standing as a cultural and audiovisual hub.
